RSC Anderlecht have identified Austrian forward Muharem Husković as a potential transfer target. The 23-year-old, who plays for Bosnian side Željezničar, was watched by an Anderlecht scout this week during his side's 1-1 draw with Čelik Zenica, a match in which Husković came on as a second-half substitute.
The striker has scored three goals in eight league appearances this season, totalling 294 minutes of action. His contract with Željezničar runs until the summer of 2028. Husković, an Austrian youth international, previously played for Austria Wien, Hartberg and Blau-Weiß Linz. His current market value is estimated at around €250,000.
Anderlecht, who currently sit fifth in the Jupiler Pro League with 13 points from seven games, continue to assess options to strengthen their squad. The club has already signed several new players this summer and is now examining potential additions to its forward line, with interest in Husković fitting that profile. Alongside the Austrian, the club is also understood to be monitoring his teammates Aldian Korora and Eldar Dragović.
Brian Riemer's side next face a trip to 17th-placed Cercle Brugge on October 10th. Anderlecht's recent form over their last five matches reads WLWDW.
