Saint-Guidon, one of the restaurants in Anderlecht's stadium, will now be operated by the team from Sir Kwinten, the two-star restaurant from Lennik. On Thursday, August 27th, Anderlecht will play against Kairat Almaty, and the restaurant will open for the first time. "Each match will have a different menu, we never serve the same thing twice."
"Four-course menu in two hours"
"We want to bring the experience of Sir Kwinten to Saint Guidon and do our thing. Each match will have a different menu, we never serve the same thing twice. Saint Guidon is of course also an iconic restaurant, which once had a Michelin star. It is an honor to be able to continue that."
For the team, it will be an adjustment, as cooking in a stadium is not the same as in a regular restaurant. "The timing is especially important, " Verhasselt says. "We will serve a four-course menu in two hours. You don't want guests to be a quarter of an hour late and miss the start of the match."
The restaurant can accommodate up to 120 people. Starting this season, anyone can make a reservation, so you don't need a subscription. On Thursday, August 27th, Anderlecht will play against Kairat Almaty. "Then the restaurant will open for the first time. It is new for us, but we are looking forward to it, " concludes Verhasselt.
