Anderlecht has finalized the transfer of Tawfik Bentayeb from Troyes. The 24-year-old Moroccan striker, Troyes' top scorer in Ligue 2, has signed for four seasons and leaves the French top division. The transfer was completed after an agreement with Union Sportive Touarga, with a fee of around 4.5 million euros. Bentayeb, who was also pursued by Ligue 1 clubs in recent months, chose Anderlecht due to the club's financial stability and long-term planning by sporting director Antoine Sibierski. The player must still obtain his work permit before he can debut in Belgium.
Marten Winkler, the 23-year-old German flank attacker, is also on his way to Anderlecht. The German, who was signed from Hertha BSC for around 4 million euros, will link his future to the Brussels club. Winkler, known for his speed and aggression, is seen as a key player for the attack. The transfer is already finalized, but the player must still undergo medical tests before he can participate in upcoming matches.
Other transfers: Moussa Diarra leaves Alaves and moves to Al-Wahda in the United Arab Emirates. Mario Stroeykens remains at Anderlecht, although Werder Bremen has shown interest in the German midfielder. The German club wants a fee of 6 million euros, which is too high for the Brussels club. Anderlecht is also exploring a loan option for Stroeykens. Tawfik Bentayeb is the sixth summer signing for the club, following Winkler, Will Ferry (not yet finalized), and other reinforcements.
