Anderlecht's Stance on Bertaccini

Anderlecht intends to keep Adriano Bertaccini in their squad for the foreseeable future, as evidenced by recent reports from SudPresse stating a possible sell is on the table. However, the club prefers not to let him join another Belgian team. Bertaccini signed with Anderlecht last summer after scoring goals for STVV. He played 42 matches and scored 8 goals and assisted for 6 strikes in his first season with the team, proving valuable despite his young age of 25. Despite this, Bruno Vitor sees no immediate future for him at the current level.

Potential Successors Emerge but Anderlecht Holds Firm

While Danylo Sikan and Mihajlo Cvetkovic are moving up in the pecking order for attacking roles, Adriano Bertaccini remains a key player for the coming seasons. According to Anderlecht, neither Sikan nor Cvetkovic can realistically replace him just yet. Additionally, while an outloan is not currently being seriously considered, the club anticipates being able to recover part of the transfer fee of approximately 5 million euros paid from STVV by potentially selling Bertaccini if he's not integral to their plans in future seasons.
