Anderlecht’s Stance on Bertaccini

Anderlecht is intent on keeping Adriano Bertaccini within their squad, as recent reports from SudPresse suggest that a potential sale could be on the horizon. However, the club prefers to keep him rather than let him join another Belgian team. Bertaccini, who transitioned from STVV and made an impressively productive start with 8 goals and 6 assists in 42 matches during his first season, remains crucial to Anderlecht's plans according to Bruno Vitor. The Portuguese coach sees no immediate future for him at the current level.

Potential Successors Emerge but Anderlecht Holds Firm

With Danylo Sikan and Mihajlo Cvetkovic rising through the ranks as attacking options, there is talk that the young 25-year-old might need to move or make way. Nevertheless, Anderlecht believes Bertaccini will remain a vital player until at least the mid-2029 transfer deadline. While an outloan is not currently being considered, the club anticipates recovering part of their 5 million euro outlay from STVV by potentially selling Bertaccini in future if he is no longer seen as integral to Anderlecht's strategy.
