VfB Stuttgart has reportedly initiated discussions regarding a potential summer transfer for Anderlecht midfielder Nathan De Cat, who is being considered as a successor for Angelo Stiller. The Bundesliga club is actively assessing options as speculation continues about Stiller's future.
According to reports from Sky Germany, the 17-year-old Anderlecht talent, Nathan De Cat, is a primary target. Stuttgart has reportedly opened talks for a move that could materialize this summer, indicating their serious interest in the young midfielder.
Securing De Cat's services would likely require a significant investment, with estimates suggesting a fee of at least €25 million plus additional bonuses. This valuation reflects the high potential seen in the player.
The interest in Nathan De Cat extends beyond VfB Stuttgart, as several other prominent European clubs are also said to be monitoring his development. Giants like FC Bayern, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, and Newcastle United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the Anderlecht youngster.
Meanwhile, VfB Stuttgart is also exploring other options for Stiller's potential replacement. Southampton's Caspar Jander has also been mentioned as a possible successor, with a similar estimated transfer fee of around €25 million.
The situation is further complicated by the reported asking price for Angelo Stiller himself. Stuttgart is said to be demanding a substantial €50 million for the midfielder, which could fund the acquisition of his replacement.
